We can't get a good shot of the whole quilt where it hangs in the stairwell, so we got as close as we could in two shots The bottom half of the quilt is shown on another page. We're sorry we can't show close-ups of all the blocks; blocks were randomly selected.
There are a lot of stars, and a lot of purples, which is Marti's favorite color. One of the most special things about the quilt is that several quilters from the Yours Truly days used Yours Truly fabrics. Marti was amazed they still had some!

Block 3 - Martha Dudley's Glory block is as detailed as her amazing dolls.
Block 22 - Patti Bachelder used fabrics by Marti & Maywood Studio for a Heart in Hand block.
Block 25 - Sara Brown worked for Marti and Richard back in the Yours Truly, Inc., days. Sara made Marti's favorite block pattern out of Yours Truly fabrics. Marti was amazed she still had some!
Block 32 - Harriett Fox, an FMM studio associate, also used "Marti fabrics" by Maywood Studio.
Block 34 - Flavin Glover is known for her Log Cabin designs, and Log Cabin is Marti's favorite block pattern.
Block 37 - Faye Heyn miniaturized Seven Sisters, one of Marti's other favorite patterns.
Block 38 - Jennifer Kay's Star Studded Beauty; she also machine quilted the quilt on her home sewing machine.
Block 41 - Claudia Larrabue also hails from the YT days. She used YT fabrics for her star block.
Block 42 - Jean Ray Laury contributed three blocks to the quilt. :)
Block 48 - Susan McKelvey's first book, Color for Quilters, was published by Yours Truly, Inc.
Block 49 - Stacy Michell's heart-felt block, made with Shades Textiles hand-dyed fabrics.
Block 21 - Ann Davis Mahaffey created artwork for Marti ffor 23 years; she stencilled her block
Block 15 - Amanda Russell is another YT alumnus.
Block 2 - Beth Hayes depicted the Quilt For a Cure logo on her block.
