Features “power cutting,” organized random fabric
arrangements and chain piecing—fun, fun, fun!
You may recognize The Substitute Teacher, as it
used to be a From Marti Michell
mystery quilt. The concept is so good, we couldn't keep
it in retirement! In many ways it still is a mystery quilt,
because the unique methods of cutting, arranging fabrics
and chain piecing mean you really don’t know what the
blocks will look like until you are done!
Use Set L for 12-inch blocks or
super-size and use Set M for 17-inch blocks (like the quilt with
blue sashings). Includes instructions for
wallhanging size and bed size quilts, or make the blocks
and adapt them to other finished items. (Quilts shown above
are not shown
in proportion to each other.)
