Texas Star Quilt

Texas Star QuiltAlso known as Lone Star, this quilt from the early 1900s is probably Pennsylvania Mennonite. The backing is made of two prints in a "strippy" or bars style. Small diamonds are sewn together in straight rows to make 8 larger diamonds. The large diamonds are seewn together, then side triangles and corner squares are set in. You can make a quilt like this using our Template Set E.
