Our Site is Like a Patchwork Quilt
There are two main sections - the Web site and the Web store. The links shown above will take you to "cover pages" in the Web site that have thumbnail views of all the products in those sections, or you can scroll down to find links to specific products.

There's a lot of information on our site. The buttons in the horizontal menu bar at the top of each page are the same on all pages. They will take you to the major sections of the site (see About the Menu Bar, below, to learn what's behind each button).

The buttons in the sidebar change from section to section. Use them to navigate within each section. Clicking "Home" or Marti's photo at the top of each page will take you back to the Welcome page, and you can come back to this page from anywhere in the site if you get lost.

If you visit the Web store and come back to any of the pages in this part of this site, you can go back to the store by using your browser's BACK button or clicking "Shop Online" or any "order this product" button.

How It's Organized
We've tried to organize everything efficiently. Some pages feature new information that is only available on our Website. Some pages include information from Marti's published books and other resources. All the Perfect Patchwork Template Sets come with a detailed instruction sheet that includes sewing tips and quilt ideas specific to those templates. That information is not repeated on the site, however, tips and tricks specific to certain sets are posted.

Product information, prices and store links are included on the various product pages, which you can access through the "Products" button on the menu bar and via the links below. We encourage you to ask for From Marti Michell products at your local store. If you own a shop, please visit the Especially for Shop Owners section.

Due to certain restrictions of the Web format, all template sets are not shown in proportion to other sets. Also, the examples shown are only the tip of the iceberg of what can be accomplished using templates!

PRODUCTS. Find out what the excitement is about Perfect Patchwork Templates, books, and rulers, plus "More Books" written by Marti that have been published by ASN, Meredith, etc.

TRICKS AND TIPS. These are not grandmother's quilting templates! Our templates have a lot of tricks up their sleeves (well, they would if they had sleeves) and there is lots of good how-to information on these pages. Print out the ones you like to have on hand while you cut and sew. This is also where you'll find things like downloadable hexagon grid paper (to use with Sets G, H and Volume 6) and a design-and-color page to use with our new Winding Ways templates.

MARTI'S NOTEBOOK. From this page you can access Marti's favorite links, free patterns that you can print or download, Marti's classes and lectures list, and references to magazine articles about Marti and/or the templates. This is also where you will find template conversions for patchwork patterns in Fons & Porter's magazine, "Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting."

QUILT SHOW. We're posting photos of quilts, old and new, that can be made using the templates. The antique quilts are from Marti and Dick's collection. Marti made many of the new quilts.

BLOCK INDEX. Volumes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 are indexed on these pages with block drawings and sizes.
