After
detailed instructions for making a perfect Eight-pointed Star comes
a collection of more than 50 blocks in the same family. Most can be
made in two sizes, some in three, but what is most amazing is that you
can make blocks in 19 sizes with one set of templates (typical of our
basic template sets, A through E.)
We named this block "Eight on Four" because each corner of
the Eight-pointed Star has four small squares (or "four patches")
in them instead of one large square.
We arranged several blocks in different sets to illustrate how a small design change like that can have major impact in an overall quilt pattern.
Like
Volumes 1 and 2, there are grids to photocopy and color, cutting and
sewing tips, plus sections for coloring whole quilt designs and designing
borders using
Set E.
